"Though many of us may not realize the grave disparities that exist in our own communities, people struggle with hunger in every county and congressional district in Texas. They could be our neighbors, kids in our children's classes – the possibilities go on...In Texas, 4,217,470 people are struggling with hunger - and of them 1,658,680 are CHILDREN."
We recognize there are many families in North Texas who qualify for federal food programs but are still lacking healthy foods for various reasons. We invite you to help identify families who are experiencing this reality. In partnership with you and other community members, we will deliver fresh goods to families. We deliver constant supply of fresh goods to communities in food desert areas. A food desert is defined as an urban area that has very limited access to fresh produce and nutritious foods.
